Beerwah
is situated among the spectacular Glass
House Mountains. The area named by Captain
James Cook in May 1770 was settled in the
mid 1800's by timber cutters. The rich volcanic
soil in the area now produces pineapple,
strawberry, avocado, citrus, macadamia nuts
and a host of other tropcial fruits.
After
a day out enjoying the spectacular view
call into the Beerwah RSL, voted the Best
Club in the District, and enjoy the friendly
country atmosphere. |
